The following is from a coworker's "Dictionary of Corporate Bullshit" calendar. Another coworker friend and I have deemed ourselves to fit this definition perfectly...and honestly, this has made my week and my weekend. I could honestly ride this out for a while too. It is so completely right on.

I immediately copied this page of the daily calendar and plan to post it in my office post-haste on Monday.

Baby Watch 2008 continues...no lunar eclipse demon child happened in our family last night. Unfortunately, that means no Superman (or Supergirl) powers for the child either -- at least not lunar-eclipse related ones. :)

Gina did go to the doctor yesterday, however, and got a more definitive idea of what we're looking at. Basically, this baby will not be born any later than March 5, one week past the initial due date. If it gets to then, they will induce. That means, Anthony, your entry is still safe, mostly because Eulalia's entry is three days prior (basically, if we have to induce on the 5th, the prize is all yours, either way, but this will work). So you'll sit where you are...sorry. :)

We don't know any more, though, about "when" of course. The baby has seemed to move down more, but it's doing it slowly. So we'll see what happens. Personally, I just want this baby to come already, as I'm tired of waiting to see what happens. If things are going to change, I'm ready for them to change already. :)
