--169 days.

--Why? Why must motherfuckin' Blogger taunt me? Can I tell you how long it took to load this page up? You don't want to know...bastards. I hate when things that have worked and should keep working DON'T.

--Well, between everything with work, the wedding planning and being social, I've been quite the busy S.O.B. lately. And it doesn't end! Madness. But, good madness. Just tiring madness.

--As I've mentioned in Laz's blog, we registered last weekend and probably will head to Target this weekend to register there. We also looked at a nice, classic car that we may get to shuttle us around on the wedding day. I just have to decide whether or not Gina and I want some quiet time between the ceremony, pictures and reception, or if we want to be in the potentially raucous trolley with the wedding party. That would be fun, no doubt. But, hell, we might want to relax a little. Then it's on to invitations...

--Don't know about you all, but I'm pretty psyched about the Comcast replay of the White Sox playoff/W.S. games. Probably none of you are. But I'm even tempted to record every single one of them. If I remember to do so, of course.

--So, I'm trying hard to avoid getting caught up in the even-earlier retailer Christmas push. It hasn't been too difficult, since I don't go shopping that much. But, I do feel the tinglings of the holiday season in the inner sanctums of my brain. I just have to try to put them off a bit longer--going to the model train show always invokes thoughts of Christmas in me, so that didn't help. But I was able to escape without purchasing anything, so I'm OK now. But, with next weekend being the "official" start of the Christmas season, it's bound to get hairy soon. :)

--I want a bungalow, dammit. I've decided. I know, that's random. But I certainly hope we can find a good one in a few years when we start looking again...maybe. Lord knows there's options.

--Ah well, I should get back to work...it'll probably take 15 minutes for this page to post anyway...bastards.
