So I've had "Rocket" by Def Leppard in my head all morning (which isn't a terribly bad thing, truthfully, but it's just stuck) because we're going to lunch on business to Rockit Bar & Grill downtown today. I feel like walking in and just busting into song right there. But I'll restrain myself.

Our hardwood floor now needs repair, because the pepper plant I had inside drained some of its water onto the floor, and it seeped into a few of the parquet boards. That shows me, unfortunately, that we SHOULD have had the floor refinished and sealed when we bought the place. Dammit. So now I'll have to figure out how to do that one of these months/years. Thankfully, it's in a bit of an inconspicuous place, comparatively speaking. So we'll see. There's more pressing things that need to be done in there.

Tomorrow, I'm off to the eye doctor in The Brook (gotta change that someday...) for new contacts and to help Gerard out around the house a bit. Then, supposedly folks are getting together on the South Side because we haven't really done anything lately. But we'll see if that comes to fruition...

Meanwhile, my friend Luis has seemingly disappeared, or lost his cellphone. I've left three messages over the last week, with nary a response. Hmmm...

Ah well...that's about it for now. Have a good weekend if I don't talk to ya! :)

I fully expect lush, green grass tomorrow, what with all the rain. Usually that's what happens in early Spring. You look at yellowish grass, it rains massively (like tonight) and the next day it's sunny and the grass is greener than it's been since last Fall.

Thunderstorms are also a good sign that Winter is probably mostly gone. That's a great thing, of course. Although I know it's going to still be a bit brisk for a while. I can live with brisk at this point.

Not much else to report though, other than the fact that I went to the dentist this evening. Whoop-dee-do.

Also weird is that I tried to activate the email posting, and tried to email an entry. Of course, that didn't work. But that was earlier today, so maybe it would work now. Who knows?

I have nothing really exciting to report though, unfortunately. Hopefully Blogger behaves from here on out...
