Weight update...In one week, I lost about 4 pounds. Pretty solid...I've read that happens though...you tend to lose a "lot" at first, and then things taper off to 1-2 pounds per week. I'm cool with that, if indeed that's the case.

Here's the funny part. Aside from now eating Healthy Choice meals for lunch rather than going to restaurants and stuffing my face, I really haven't gone nutso in terms of eating much differently. Really, lunch was typically my undoing anyway. I always ate too much, and too much crap at that.

Furthermore, I think the whole "drink X ounces of water per day" is making a huge difference too, which I'm not surprised.

Why do I say these things? Well, I've blown my points every single day so far and still lost 4 pounds in a week. Seriously. And some days, I blew it by quite a bit. And still lost weight that day even.

See, for me, it's all about the knowledge. As I go along, I'll keep tabs on what I'm eating and what my body does in reaction to it. If I continue to lose weight, then there's no reason to cut myself down further in terms of points. I AM eating better...like I said. So, probably THAT'S what's doing it. Not so much the amount I'm eating, but that I'm eating better. Yes, portions are smaller, but I snack more--but HEALTHY snacking...carrots, or pretzel crisps (which are pretty healthy), or if I feel some hunger coming on, I'll drink a glass of water with Crystal Light powder in it. That helps.

So, we'll see what happens the rest of the way...not bad so far. And the best thing is, NO MEETINGS! ALL ONLINE! :)
