--203 days.

--Go Sox. Keep going Sox. This feels great, let me tell you. Just fantastic. :)

--Really, other than working, that's been about it--White Sox, White Sox and more and more White Sox.

--Oh, and I have the "error" AL Central Champions t-shirt that leaves off Joe Crede on the roster on the back because the morons who made it pulled the roster off the Web while Crede was on the 15-day DL (or whatever it was, exactly). Too freakin' funny, let me tell you. Once again, it helps to have someone who KNOWS the team to edit it. Even t-shirts need editing!

--208 days. Sorry I've been away...I don't know if anyone even reads this thing anymore...if so, I'm sorry for the moments of silence. Please come back! :)

--Anyone having a Halloween costume party? I just got my costume for the one party I'm going to, and I'm psyched. I've never bought a costume before though, so I'm looking for multiple parties to go to, so that the purchase is "justified" in my cheap-ass brain. :)

But I am psyched about the costume. And no, you can't know about it...it's a surprise, if you have a party (or if I decide to). I will really boil it down for you though...ha, ha...it's a movie character, and I need to go out and buy the DVD in order to get the makeup, mannerisms and other things just right. And it's a movie I've seen (so, that rules out Napoleon Dynamite, which I have yet to see)...boy, that narrows it down for you, doesn't it? :)

So what's your guess? Or who SHOULD I have chosen to be for Halloween? I await the hilarity.

--My finger's been hurting lately...at random moments, I'll get this stabbing or shooting pain in it, that lasts a little bit and then goes away. I see the specialist again next Monday, so I'm hoping it goes away by then. Otherwise, though, it seems to be healing pretty well, which is good. Except the pain, of course. :)

--Also, this weekend, I go to the dentist. Big deal, right? Well, this time it is...I'll be moving forward on getting my smile fixed, finally, after nearly 20 years...I was about 10 years old when I was hit with the baseball in the mouth, which caused my front left tooth to slowly turn gray and ugly. Now, with the wedding coming up, it's time to get it fixed up. I have three options and likely will just go with the cheapest one available, which is a permanent veneer over the front of the tooth, I believe. Of course, I'd really, honestly, rather have it pulled and a false tooth put in, because if the tooth (with the veneer on) dies off or something, it could still need to be pulled and replaced. But we shall see, I suppose. I think short-term funding will win out over long-term, seemingly practical funding on this one.

--But, for now, GO SOX (and, go Yankees, for the moment...go away Angels!), and back to work I go...
