"Omaha. Somewhere in middle America. Getting right to the heart of matters. It's the heart that matters more. Think you better turn your ticket in, and get your money back at the door."

--No reason, other than I'm off to Omaha and on to Lincoln for the day for work. Love these miles/points-racking-up short trips, but really, only for that reason.

Man. I'm tired.

Today Gina and I went to a bunch of open houses, continuing to research homes for eventual purchase. Let me tell you...house hunting is not fun. Of course, many of you know this. And we're not even technically "hunting" right now, just "researching" and getting ideas for what we want and what the market's looking like, so we're prepped after the holidays to possibly take things up a notch and put the condo up. Of course, there's plenty we'd like to do around here to improve things before putting the condo up, so between all those things and everything else going on, it's going to be a real pressure cooker, in a sense.

That said, I wanted to apologize to the few people who are still reading this. I know I've been incognito. I've tried my best, and I hope you all understand that much. And I will always try my best...but, it is what it is. Sometimes, I feel like so many parts of my life are just spinning out of my control...and I wish I could get things back under control in those aspects. But I'm doing my best. I know, that's little consolation and all, but it's all I can offer at this point...hopefully someday things will smooth out a bit (whether or not that frees things up or not is not the point...for my health and sanity, I need things to smooth out more).
