Waiting on a pizza.
Not comin' for half an hour.
Home Alone 2 is on.
I'm only half paying attention.
I'll probably change the station.
But whatever.

Nothing else is up right now. :)
Except that I'm done working until the 28th.

And, Monday we leave for Vegas!

I watched the live-action version of the Grinch last night (the Jim Carrey version), and I have to say that I was impressed...they did a good job...as did Carrey.

So today, I've been singing the song most of the day...well, parts of it anyway.

That's all the randomness I have for now.

Ah sports, my archenemy...

1. Thank God this fantasy football season is over...in ALL 3 leagues, all ending this weekend. The minute I drafted Edgerrin James and Fred Taylor in one league, I had a sinking feeling about the year. I was right there...made the playoffs, barely, only to lose by 4 points. Ghetto Bowl I was actually hopeful about, what with Peyton Manning carrying the team and Thomas Jones surprising some people. But I should have known that would dry up down the stretch a bit. And lastly, by the time Michael Vick came through for me, it was too late, because I'd signed Drew Brees, only to bench him against Tampa Bay this week...well, Brees would have helped a team that, again, didn't have much punch down the stretch, especially after Ahman Green got all banged up and Manning started liking Harrison and Stokley more than Reggie Wayne.

Good riddance to the 2004 season...

2. I don't even want to talk about the Sox, because I have no idea what the hell Kenny Williams is doing...I mean, I understand what he's doing, but I don't get why...I'd supported him in the past, but I just don't understand why you're upgrading the outfield, when it's the infield, really, that needs defensive upgrading. But we'll see if they're even done. The Sox really never have understood, and probably never will, that you can't trade away fan favorites so damn frequently...THAT'S why nobody comes to the games...you keep the guys the fans hate (Frank Thomas) and trade or dump the guys the fans love (where should I begin the list?).

Ah, well, Peyton, thanks for the ride. I lost to my cousin in Ghetto Bowl playoffs, it looks like, this week.

Meanwhile though, it's tense times in my big-money league. I'm 5 points down, he currently has the Eagles D playing (and they've scored 0 so far...please hold on and don't allow anything, Washington!), has Erron Kinney playing tomorrow, and I have Derrick Mason. It's mainly scoring, with some yardage bonuses. So there's some hope. Some.

But we'll see how that goes. Man, I could use the victory in that league--it would be a helluva upset...I'm the 4 seed, playing the 1, who rolled over me earlier in the year. It would be great to knock him off his perch!
