Not having my computer set up sucks. I have to sit on the floor, using Gina's computer (AOL too...ugh), and that's a pain. Thankfully, one week from now, DSL should be active, which means my computer will be good to go.

Hmmm...this weekend, if I remember right (which usually I don't), was kind of uneventful, for the most part. Kind of just took care of business around here and did minor things. I'm going to enjoy the next couple of days off. I think I'm going to try to sleep in one of those days.

Taking the train to and from work has been pheeeeeenomenal...just great. Shorter time, less stress. Generally much better. I used to leave work at 5pm and get home (to Humboldt Park, not my parents' house) around 6:30 or later. Now, the train picks me up at 4:56, I take it to Mayfair, switch to the Blue Line, walk 2.5 blocks and I'm still home by 6 almost every day. So friggin' awesome. I laugh at every car I see sitting in traffic out the train window. In fact, that reminds me of an excellent Simpsons moment that was on recently...

Homer: Hee hee hee. I pity those poor suckers on the freeway. Gas brake honk. Gas brake honk. Honk honk punch. Gas gas gas.

That is that for the day. Tomorrow, a half day. And, Tom Skilling said it...maybe no snow in the city proper because of how warm the lake is. That saddens me. I like snow. :( Stupid lake.
