Now I know how touring musicians feel. And stumping politicians. Man. Five cities and one town in seven days. Chicago-Cleveland-Canton-Brewster and back, then Chicago-Baltimore-Hanover and back. Not easy, even without a red-eye flight. Then again, most politicians and musicians don't have to drive the rental car. :)
The Pro Football Hall of Fame was cool. I did discover McFarlane's 3-inch NFL figures, which are much more affordable (like $5) and, although they're not as perfectly detailed as the big figures, they're nice. I'd still rather have the big figures though. The Hall of Fame itself was well worth it. I found myself learning and enjoying it, and that's the best thing of all. :)
All in all, I met a dozen industry veeps at two regional manufacturers, which is the "beat" I'll be covering at work, says my editor. They all were fantastic people...funny and really helpful and knowledgable at the same time. Made life much easier, ya know? :)
But now, I have catching up on bills, mail, and work even, to do. So I bid you adieu.
