Well, better news this time on the condo front. We actually got a counter-offer...and then we countered too. So we're waiting again. Our initial bid was $20,000 less than the asking price, and the guy went down almost $5,000. But that's not enough for the work the place needs, and his realtor told our realtor, "He's a stubborn old man." Ha! Tough shit for him. We're stubborn young people with money we can't throw away...Our realtor said, "Does he realize that the place needs a minimum of $10,000 worth of work?" The guy really didn't update anything in the place, and it shows. That is, of course, with top-of-line work that it needs that much. Since this isn't going to be our "permanent" residence, we're not planning on breaking the bank on things...so, we upped the bid $4,000, and we patiently await a response. We're about $6,000 away from what we absolutely will pay for this place, which is about $11,000 less than the asking price.

Meanwhile, I drafted my third and final fantasy team for the year...this team is a 10-team league with less-stringent rules for number of players per position, but I decided to just double the starting lineup (except QB). Here's THIS team:
QB: Vick (2nd rd.)
RB: A. Green (1), S. Davis (3), Henry (5), T. Jones (7)
WR: Andre Johnson (4), K. Robinson (6), Wayne (8), Jimmy Smith (9)
TE: F. Jones (10), Graham (13)
PK: Kasay (12), Conway (15)
Def: Indy (11), Jacksonville (14)
