Is there such a thing as "Groomzilla?" I wonder.
Not that I'm close to that or anything...I was just wondering if that ever happened...

I do feel this urge to just get things done, but I know that I can actually take my time on things now that the 2 main things, the church and reception hall, are booked. The rest of the stuff I will be involved with (everything but her dress), can be taken slowly but surely. Plenty of research to be done, that's for sure.

Prepare, by the way, to eat, eat, eat and eat even more at our wedding. I kid you not when I say the following will be there to eat: hors d'oeuvres, bread, soup, salad, potato, veggie, two meats, dessert, sweet table (and add probably pasta as well, and wedding cake). Thank God the prices are fantastic. You will not go home hungry.

And if you're wondering why I might be talking openly about the wedding here is that pretty much any friend of mine that reads this regularly will be invited. We're looking at about 300 people at our reception. We have to guarantee 290, anyway. That's a lot, but it's not impossible. My dad's side of the family is quite large.

So that's the situation with that...otherwise, the research mildly continues.

Also, in order to boost ratings in my comments, I wanted to play a creative, highly thought-provoking game: Pick one famous person (from any time or place), and give me a one sentence they might utter if they rode the El.

And now I'm feeling tired. So it's off to bed I go.

Is anyone out there?
