--54 days. You know, I'm a history geek...you know why? Because the number 54 always reminded me of "Fifty-Four Forty or Fight!"...though, what President was that? Was that Grover Cleveland? Yes, I'm a total history geek...but I know one of you has the answer out there.
--Finally, today, my legs stopped hurting from standing during the entire bridal shower. I must have been leaning to my left a little, because yesterday, my left leg from the thigh all the way down to the toes was excruciatingly bad. I could barely walk. Today, it's still a little sore, but not noticeably so, and it should be fine tomorrow. But hey, the price you pay for fine gifts...thank you to all of you who attended that might be reading this or who sent gifts in lieu of attendance. We're really happy with all of it...really.
--In fact, we busted out the George Foreman grill last night to make hamburgers. It may very well become my new best friend in the kitchen...it had nearly become that when I lived with Butch and he had one, so it wouldn't be the first time I took to an appliance. It's so simple! And thus endeth my infomercial for the George Foreman grill...
--Two more days until March Madness, and less than a week until my less-heralded-than-the-Laz-outing trip to Vegas. Don't know if I'll get a ton of time to do any gambling or game-watching, but I'm hoping to lay down the law later in the week to watch some of the games at a sportsbook...just to experience the excitement and all that. But we'll see, right?
--That's about it for now...other than, right now, I'm only five regrets away from having more regrets RSVPs than accepts...as of now, it stands at 26 accepts, 21 regrets. Whereas Gina has something like 36 accepts and 4 regrets. I've got some catching up to do. :)
