--184 days.

--Man. So I went to bed pretty much immediately after that post last night. I needed it, let me tell you. So I feel better today...

--Happy Birthday to my cousin, Will, who I don't believe reads this, but those of you who give a rat's ass and have his email can email him a Happy Birthday. Or something...

--We got good news the other day. Gina's friend Pat, who is standing up in our wedding, is finally, finally, finally coming home from Iraq at the end of this month. He's been there the bulk of two or three years now, only getting a little bit of time off here and there to return home. He's a great guy, and he is finally going to come back here and maybe finally be able to stick around. Plus, he's a Cub fan (and huge baseball fan), and I haven't been able to talk shit to him since he's been in Iraq...OK, I won't do that, but I *will* expect a congratulations from him. :)

--Laz, should I officially give up hope that you discovered that wager ticket anywhere and that I'm out $20 in reality, but $220 in theory?

--In wedding news, Gina and I are going to check out a trolley for the wedding this weekend, among other tasks. Hopefully it's nice. I can't imagine it wouldn't be, but who knows for sure until we see it. After the transportation, pretty much all the major things on my side of the equation are finished, sans the honeymoon plans. We're still thinking about Australia, but we'll have to see for sure. The nice thing about Australia in July (which is when we'd be going) is that it's winter (though still pleasant weather), so it's off-peak, for the most part. But other than that, Europe is still very much on the radar. The key is squeezing it in between all the weddings we have next year and all the happenings surrounding them. Shouldn't be difficult, but we shall see for sure, ya know?

--Well, I should get back to work. I have more than enough to do around here, so I should get to doing it. But first, what the hell is this word verification crap? I'm not buying tickets...stupid pain in the ass processes!
