From the "I can't make this shit up" file:

First, a little background. We do a book each year, the Pro Prospects Preview, that basically is a player-by-player scouting analysis of anyone in college who might be worthy of the draft next year. We call it the Joel book, even though Joel (who passed away in December) isn't writing it anymore, obviously. Well, Joel used to write some really weird stuff about guys--stuff you wouldn't think would be in a scouting analysis...like "XXX is part Japanese" or things like that...we got a laugh out of things like that. But this is funnier than anything Joel ever wrote:

"Moved back to free safety in ’01, starting nine games and missing two with a fractured right foot that he sustained playing air guitar in his dorm room."

Too damn funny.
