Even though I've never seen the show at all, thanks Laz...I needed this. :)



















I spent today with football on in the background, transcribing tape and typing out stories due tomorrow. It was horribly reminiscent of my PFW days, except worse.

Yesterday, I played in the Arkush Open once again. For not having golfed in about two years, I played pretty well, shooting a 125 (for me, that's good). What killed me was my short game. I would get to the greens in 3-4, but then 4 or 5 putt and screw myself over. But, it was, indeed, a good time, as usual. And it only briefly rained, while we were at the clubhouse in between the front and back nine. Score!

Otherwise, work is brutal...and we got brutal news of a freeze on new hires. That means we're shorthanded until January, dammit. Very disheartening news, let me tell you.

But, the good news, I guess, is that I get to go to Florida from Tuesday through Friday, albeit for a conference. Still, to get out of the office is sweet.

But I'll try to post between now and then. I hope.
