--So, we met with the priest yesterday, and that went well. Preliminary questions, such as "is there anything prohibiting you from getting married, such as another marriage, canonical vows, mental illness, etc." I thought that was pretty funny, sorta. And here I thought they'd have a problem with us living together... :) Which the priest did not. We gave the same address, anyway...

--Now, we have to order our invitations. We selected the fonts and colors and everything on Sunday, and we got proofs two days ago. They look fan-freakin'-tastic...I would recommend Paper Source's invitation specialist to anyone willing to spend a little more for invitations, whenever you might need them. She did a hell of a job. :) And, although it was more expensive than other options, the quality will be excellent, the design beautiful but different, and overall still affordable. I expect you all to frame my invitation. ;)

--You know, I've done pretty much NO Christmas shopping thus far...I don't know what I'm going to do about that. Maybe I'll take the day off tomorrow and go get some of that out of the way...we'll see about that. But I need to get it done, that's for sure. I'm running out of time. At least I'll have the second half of next week off to get the last-minute crap taken care of.

--Tomorrow is my company Christmas party...last year it was cool, and fun too. I'll actually be singing this year (they have a little mock talent show)--nothing I don't know, but I've never sung without the words in front of me (either a sheet or on a karaoke screen), so I hope that I know the song well enough to remember it as I'm going along. :) It should definitely be worthwhile though, as it's at Maggiano's, which is great food for sure. :) So I'm sure it'll be great.
