--I never thought I'd randomly meet an alum of our esteemed dorm, but lo and behold, today I met a woman who lived at CRC for three years back in the day. She's only the top communications person at the top association for the industry I cover. So, that's nice to see a former CRCer doing, obviously, quite well. It was also very random and interesting to meet someone in such a random fashion. :) I think she was as surprised as I was to meet someone who lived at CRC as well...

--D.C. was cool, what I saw driving from the airport to the offices and back. I am definitely intrigued enough to want to go back. Though, I did learn that no building can be taller than 12 stories--I'm sure one of you knows why that is. I didn't have the chance to ask...I'm really curious about this.

--I'm about to go to bed, actually, though, because I have to get up at 3am to go to Midway to fly to Houston tomorrow morning, bright and early, for my first plant tour in the new gig. Should be interesting, that's for sure. Of course, I have a 2.5-hour drive after landing in Houston, and I'm excited, but I will be totally drained tomorrow evening, and will definitely be asking for late checkout at the hotel. :)

--But that's about all I have right now...I'll keep you all posted, of course. :)
